A Glamorous wedding in a Luxe Private Villa in Porto Heli

They say, “the best perfumes come in small bottles” and this modern glam elopement in a private villa in Porto Heli, arrives to validate the old adage – not out of any C-19 sine qua non,
but out of a British-French couple’s sheer conviction that opting for a microwedding would max the experience for them and their guests.
Merie and Edwin have beautiful energy together.
Edwin has a calming, polite presence, and Merie brings a flirtatious, playful spirit to their relationship.
Shortly after getting engaged, Merie landed a product development managerial position at a major fashion brand in NYC.
They wished for an escape to Greece before starting their new life in the States.
They contacted me to design their wedding at Porto Heli (inspired by Leonard Cohen’s Hydra romance) in less than five months!
A film buff, Merie was enamored with the beauty of Spetses and Porto Cheli as they’re portrayed on Netflixs Glass Onion movie.
I suggested an opulent private villa for their I-do’s.
Theirs was the first wedding to ever take place on the manicured property perched on a gorgeous promontory neighboring the Greek Royal estates.
This luxe private villa in Porto Heli, was the perfect option for their elopement, allowing their closest people to enjoy various locations.
This villa in Porto Heli, is love at first sight .
It is a brand new private wedding venue in Porto Cheli.
The modern architecture and vivid blue Mediterranean landscape is the perfect backdrop for a chic elopement in Greece, featuring elegant fashion, all-white flowers and the most gorgeous tabletop styling.
Surrounded by fragrant local vegetation, this idyllic setting is a delight for the senses, with scents of lavender, rosemary, thyme wafting on the sea breeze, as well as pomegranate, citrus and olive trees dotted throughout the grounds. The pool loungers and the shaded sitting area offer breathtaking views to the deep blue sea and the neighbouring islets, guarantee zen moments of oblivion for you and your guests.
The Saronic islands appeal to us for their eclectic mix of breathtaking nature and clean esthetic, and we wanted to embrace the sophistication they exude in the design concept.
We created a vision board that resonated with the ambiance of the venue, overgrown white florals and minimalist greens, a touch of gold, and blond wood.
As both bride and groom work in the fashion industry, they feel deeply for alternative looks, so they opted for different attire at the ceremony, their couple portraits, and their party
(a girl can never have too many dresses, really).
Since all of their guests were to stay with together at the villa, they wanted to maximize their experience with a yacht cruise around Porto Heli gulf, honestly one of their best choices!
I asked Merie
Did you regret not having a bigger wedding?
“No, because it was all about the people we love and us and everything was wonderful.
Now that we’re packed into our new daily grind, we look back to these delightful moments and have already decided to head back to this amazing villa in Porto Heli the first chance we get!”
