AN ELEGANT AND MAGNIFICENT DESTINATION WEDDING IN SPETSES

Antonia and Nikos, a truly lovely couple of Greek descent, coming from New York and Vancouver, chose the magical island of Spetses for their amazing wedding in Greece.
A jewel of the Saronic Gulf, Spetses is a picture-perfect, car-free island, with charming architecture, rich history, and unique style. The island flourished during the early 18th century, developing into a significant naval power. The 200-year-old captains’ mansions lining the coast to this day, exude the wealth and grandeur of that time. The island has been a favorite of international jet-setters since the 1960s, but you don’t need to be an A-lister to take a stroll on
the coastal promenade on the harbor of Dapia! With its vibrant culture, beautiful beaches, crystal clear waters, and cosmopolitan nightlife, Spetses is an ideal location for a memorable destination wedding in Greece!
Ever since Antonia was a little girl, spending her summers in Spetses, she was dreaming of an amazing wedding, set right there, on the magical island with the aristocratic aura and unique, old-world class vibes.
Making her childhood dream come to life was my goal, and the promise I gave her when we started planning this wedding in Spetses.
Since our first contact, I immediately sensed the couple’s true love for Greece, and connected to their desire to create an unforgettable wedding for their friends and family in the country of their origin, and the lovely island of Spetses.
I really enjoyed every moment of the whole wedding planning process with this calm, kind, and delightful couple.  We selected a wedding concept which, we felt, would blend harmoniously with the unique ambience of the island of Spetses. Lush white florals, combined with hues of pale blue and golden details, exuded an aura of romance and elegance, to bring the couple’s vision to life.
The wedding ceremony took place in the Greek Orthodox church of St. Nicholas, with its marvelous stone terrace and a striking view to the old harbor.
For the bridal prep, Antonia chose the iconic Poseidonion Grand Hotel, a historic landmark of the island, and a jet-set destination since 1914.
Calm, relaxed and secure in knowing that I had every detail under control for a seamless event, the bride to be enjoyed every moment of prep and pampering in the bridal suite, before stepping into a new life with her soulmate..
Nikos was excited, charming and the definition of a gentleman, as he arrived in church to wait for his bride.
Antonia, with her delicate beauty, was absolutely gorgeous in her ultra-chic effortlessly stunning wedding dress by Vera Wang, as she arrived in church, escorted by her father, on a classic horse-drawn carriage.
After the ceremony, a wedding party in Kaiki Beach that went on until the sun came out was the talk of the island for weeks!
Congratulations, Antonia and Niko!
